Increase to 32 sts on each needle, 64 sts total.

Change to main color after toe increases are complete.

Knit two tubes in the main color until it runs out.

Switch to contrasting color and knit one round, then 11 rounds of twisted rib.

Afterthought heel placement following Louise Tilbrook’s blog post

Pick up 30 sts for the heel + 1 stitch from each “corner of the mouth” = 32 sts per side

Mini gusset with German short rows, 4 turns/DS’s on each side

Dec row: K2, SSK, K to last 4 sts, K2tog, K2 on either needle, repeat dec row every other row until 12 sts left on each needle

Kitchener the remaining sts together
