Notes

Working another blanket, but this one will be much larger and I will change the border. May make this one 12 squares if I have enough yarn.

Each square is worked:
5 rounds sea green
4 rounds clear blue
3 rounds smoke
2 rounds cloud, plus final round

I was able to finish the first two colors in all of the remaining (8) motifs. I was able to complete 7 squares total in the Clear Blue colorway before having to use my second skein. I will have enough of both the Sea Green and Clear Blue to make 3 additional squares for a total of 12, but want to wait until I see if I will need more of the other two remaining colors before I go ahead and make the additional three squares.

Completed all but three squares in the smoke colorway. Hope to finish those tomorrow. 1 skein of smoke for 6 squares, with just a bit left over. I will start the new skein when I finish the remaining 3, and will have enough in this color to make three additional squares if I decide to go for 12 total instead of 9.

I was able to complete 6 squares with 1 skein of the cloud. I have one more skein, which is enough to complete my remaining 3 and add 3 more in order to enlarge the blanket to 12 squares.

Planning my border will mean additional yarn. I may purchase 2 more of each color and see what I can do. This is going to be so pretty when finished!

I have all but one of my last 6 squares completed through the smoke colorway. So far,for 15 squares I have used:
Sea Green - a little more than 1 full skein
Clear Blue - 3 skeins (with some left over)
Smoke - <3 skeins with one square left to finish
Cloud - 2 skeins, but I have all remaining 6 squares to go, so I may use a bit more than 1 more full skein at this point.

Looking forward to finishing all of the squares by the end of this weekend, and plan to use SC joining method in the cloud colorway when I connect them together.

Trying to decide how I want the border to look….

I put the final stitch on my border and am so happy with how this turned out. I think I will write this up as a separate pattern with specifics on color changes and the border, which is different from the pattern linked to for this project.
