I designed this cocoon cardigan for the Orange Blossom Yarn Crawl in Florida. It will be on display at the Knit and Stitch Boutique in March and April of 2025. This pattern was inspired by the beautiful oranges and orange blossoms which grow in Florida.

This Cocoon cardigan is made by creating a central square which is an orange juxtaposed over the blue sky. The central square is then surrounded by 16 blossom squares to form a larger square. The blossoms are white with green background to show the contrast of the blossoms and leaves. The larger square is transitioned into a continuous granny square which is continued in a specific stripe pattern until it is at your desired size.

If you want a larger size than the sample you may need 2 skeins of each color instead of just one. I highly recommend getting 2 skeins of each color if you want to make longer sleeves as well.
