Maker Savvy is a knitting and modern quilting store in Kanata, Ontario. We supply products and classes to makers of textile arts. We offer luxurious yarns, quality knitting needles, crochet hooks and notions, quilting fabric, Bernina Sewing machines, threads, and other sewing/quilting notions.

In our yarn area we feature Canadian Hand Dyers in a variety of yarn bases and weights. We have dyers represented in Western Canada, Ontario and Quebec.

Join us for expert knitting classes and social knitting groups. Thursdays from 12:30 to 3 pm and again from 6 to 8 pm, we have a free Social Knit-working drop-in with lots of friendly knitters.

We carry Malabrigo, Kat’s Riverside Studio, Koigu, Artfil, Opal, Sweet Georgia, Schachenmeyer Regia, Yvieknits, Pretty String, and other quality yarns.
