Lady of Shalott is a neck-down shawl with construction similar to knitted Faroese shawls. This results in a generous wingspan that wraps around and stays on shoulders better than a straight triangle.

From the pattern:

Wings of the Valkyrie is constructed from the neck down, and makes full use of a lovely skein of fingering or lace weight yarn.

Smallest hook size is used to place beads.

Pattern calls for 14 skeins of Shine Worsted. If you’re using a yarn with 120 yards/skein or more, you can get away with less yardage.

Jane is a semi-circular love knot shawl with an Irish crochet edging. It works well with variegated colors, and only uses 2 skeins of The Unique Sheep Tinsel Toes.

This blanket was designed and named after my niece, Madelynn Grace. The rows consist of alternating shell and eyelet rows, and it has a picot shell border.

You will also need 192 (+24 for gauge swatch) size 6/0 seed beads.

In mythology, the Pleiades were seven sisters, sea nymphs, who were turned into stars. The star-like motif at the center of the shawl echoes their final form, and the rounds of waves are evocative of their beginning.

Gauge and pattern given are for lace weight yarn, but the Flower Trellis Shawl is easily adapted to any weight yarn up to worsted.
