Amber Lee

Changing your name while writing or designing anything is always so fun! I used to be Amber Daniels-Cook, and now I’m Amber Lee, oops!

My grandmother taught me to knit at age 9. Brought back to knitting by a good friend in the late 90’s, and the fact that Webs was in my backyard, I’ve been knitting in public since.

The irresistible urge to alter patterns to meet my needs led down that slippery slope to designing.

I’m still learning, and I unvent and learn new methods of construction and design looking around me every day. It’s one of my favorite things about knitting, and designing.

I’ve started designing a bit again, and am enjoying it, on my own terms.
