My designs have been in Vogue Knitting, KnitScene, Knit Simple, Interweave Knits, Noro Magazine, and other publications; I also have written articles for Vogue Knitting, Yarn Market News, Creative Knitting, For Love of Knitting and other publications. I don’t sleep very much.

My latest book, is Self-Striping Yarn Studio, published in August 2016 by Lark Crafts. It’s a look at self-striping yarns: how they work, tips for using them, and a selection of over 24 glorious patterns especially designed for self-striping and gradient yarns.

My book Knitting Ephemera was published in February 2016 by Sixth and Spring Books. It’s my love letter to knitters and knitting, a celebration and collection of nuggets of knowledge about knitting, yarn and fiber -- and, of course, sheep and alpaca and goats.

Previously, Lace Yarn Studio, was published in April 2015 from Lark Crafts and features fresh ideas for using lace weight yarn; Sock Yarn Studio was published in fall 2012 and features patterns using sock yarn for things other than socks. The third book in my Studio series premiers in August 2016: Self-Striping Yarn Studio.

I also co-wrote Knit So Fine, published June 2008 by Interweave Press, and wrote Knitting Socks in Handpainted Yarn, published December 2008 from Interweave Press.
