This easy knitted bag is worked in a rectangle in a combination of stockinette and garter-stitch, then folded in half and seamed up the side. Eyelets holes are created so that a ribbon can be weaved through to create a drawstring. (Interweave)

Finished Size: 8” wide and 9 1/2” tall.

Yarn: Louet MerLin (70% merino, 30% linen; 156 yd [142 m]/ 100 g): #47 terra cotta, 1 skein.

Yarn weight: #4 - Medium

Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows = 4” in St st on larger needles.

Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm) needles, size 6 (4 mm) needles. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
