I’m part of the Neighborhood Knit Shop family. Being a sweater fanatic, I “switched” from crochet to knitting as my #1 favorite thing to do. Pat of TNKS fondly called me a “rebel knitter” because, the first project she started me on when I was learning (a scarf) got waylaid because I couldn’t resist starting a sweater. Yes, I eventually finished the scarf as well as the sweater and haven’t stopped since. Also, I rarely do anything exactly by the pattern … somehow I end up tweeking the gauge or adding this or that because I want to use a different yarn, or add a cable or…. well there’s ALWAYS something. I usually have a dozen or so projects going at a time … I haven’t actually counted them all, I think I’d be embarrassed, so, I won’t. I’m a yarn addict, a pattern addict and a knitting addict (they are different you know :) ) with a major STASH …. probably store size . I adore working with Alpaca Silk and being around knitters.
