Hello hello everyone,

I am a designer based in Istanbul, Turkey, who grew up in both Anatolian and Mediterranean cultures. I come from a large family with members who have various artisan talents: The men in my family are carpenters and building contractors, while the women are skilled in sewing, knitting, and embroidery. This diverse background has shaped me into a natural-born designer. I am fortunate to have been raised in such colorful and rich cultures. Additionally, I pursued my college education at Istanbul University, located at the heart of the remnants of the Byzantium and the Ottoman Empires. Now, I am striving to incorporate my inspirations and cultural heritage into my designs.

Design Perspective

I immerse myself in fashion magazines, follow the latest trends, and delve into fashion books, in search of inspiration. I try to anticipate timeless trends and create timeless garments. Yarn trends and expectations of my clients are important factors in my designs, as well. My ultimate aim is to deliver stylish patterns to clients of all skill levels from the beginner to the advanced.

Patterns

I like to use the same pattern with different yarn options, different length options, or different garment options. (Indeed, I became a designer thanks to this instinct.) I offer my patterns with different editions inside as much as possible.

Every new design teaches me valuable lessons and often leads to the development of new techniques. I make sure to incorporate these techniques and various tips into my patterns, so you can learn and grow alongside me.

In Turkey, we generally knit our garments piece by piece and start from the bottom. Consequently, the majority of my designs are piece-by-piece knitted, bottom-up garments, because I learned knitting this way.

Social Media

I share on my Instagram account my daily life between knitting needles, my new projects, and some knitting tips. On my Pinterest account, I share my projects and their details. Additionally, I create tutorial videos for each pattern on my YouTube channel, demonstrating how to follow and knit the pattern step by step.
