Hi, I’m Gabby! I’m 35 and I currently live in Milwaukee with my partner, Paul, and two furry jerks/sweethearts named Bella and Captain Jack. When I’m not knitting, I make a living teaching chemistry and biochemistry (and telling bad jokes) at a small liberal arts college in Rhode Island.

I learned how to crochet from my Nonna. She passed away in 2015 just a few weeks shy of her 80th birthday, and I miss her dearly. Crocheting is my way of staying connected to her and honoring her memory.

I started knitting in college, and it quickly became a second crafting passion! I released my first knitting pattern in September 2011, and I’m currently working on releasing new patterns (and updated versions of my earlier work).
