Irina Lawrence is co-owner of Flying Fibers, a yarn shop in Lancaster County. She is also a shepherdess of rare breed British sheep, and a knitter, spinner, dyer, weaver.

She is inspired by the English landscape, and the quaint towns found in North Yorkshire. She loves British Longwools, and USA-made yarns, and features these in her designs.
