French born and Parisian-bred, I learned to knit and crochet from my great grand-mothers at the age of 7 (or there-abouts).
Many years later, a scientist in the UK with a great need for a creative outlet I bought a couple of beginner books and am now rarely seen without a project in hand, trying to better the world, one stitch at a time.
6 months in the Netherlands with inspiring knitters to join every Tuesday gave me the push to try at designing.
Fully bilingual I also translated the LaDroguerie pattern book “Des bebes toute l’annee” from French to English and hope to find more similar projects to do.
Those days the only time I put the yarn down is too enjoy a few games of pinball and I hope to qualify for the UK championship in 2008.
