Hi there! My name is Kristen. I am a wife, mama, and I’ve been designing knitwear over 10 years. I’ve been published in Knitscene Magazine as well as the books Knit Red and Stitch Mountain.

I was the very first in-house designer at Jimmy Beans Wool where I designed many Mystery Knit Alongs inspired by Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones and other popular shows at the time. I’m a sucker for all things historical fiction!

My current project is the National Park Hats Collections where I release a new hat every month inspired by a different US National Park. I also dye yarn to accompany these designs.

Early on, I started out designing under the name “Marinade Designs” but have since shifted to the name “Kristen in Stitches.” You might notice my old name on some of my patterns as I work through sprucing them all up.
