Sometimes you see a yarn that is so unique you just HAVE to knit with it. That’s exactly what happened for me with this ribbon-like Denims yarn from Fibra Natura. (It’s amazing cotton and wooly goodness, BTW!) I just envisioned a simple, fringe-y bandana that could be worn with just about anything I owned, and I ended up loving the result so much that I just had to write up the pattern!

The design would work easily in just about any bulky yarn and I’ve listed a few other tape-like bulky yarns in the yarn options above that I have seen in person and think would work great for this pattern.

The pattern includes two sizes, the one I am wearing that is extra cowl-y and fits someone with a larger stature like myself, and a smaller version for an average or more petite frame. Honestly though, the test knit has been tried on by folks of all sizes and works well on any frame with just a bit more coverage, so you could really knit either size. Measurements are as follows:

S/M - 25.5” top circumference, 43.5” bottom circumference, 15” front length (minus fringe.)

L/XL - 28” top circumference, 46” bottom circumference, 16” front length (minus fringe.)
