Hello, I am Laverne Benton, the owner of BzyPeach, LLC. Currently located in the Greater Atlanta area, I specialize in creating hand-dyed luxury yarns created from plant fibers. I also sell other notions that the creative fiber artist might need, including custom Fiber Arts project journals. I found my way to the fiber arts industry through Crochet and still publish the occasional pattern.

 
I create community in my corner of the fiber arts world by hosting Lives on Instagram most Saturday mornings at 10 am est.  The Saturday Morning Shenanigans show features candid and fun conversations with other fiber artists and business owners. However, the lives are not just talk, they often provide action-oriented solutions. 

From this forum I was able to create BzyShowers, a community and resource network supporting new and emerging Black-Owned fiber businesses.  Think baby shower, but for businesses. I along with 5 other dedicated volunteers select, promote, and provide a vehicle for like-minded supporters to pour into these businesses by gifting tools and funds needed to grow.
