Mad Crochet Scientist

Mad Crochet Scientist

I’m a Mad Crochet Scientist and infinite Queen of Whack-a-Mole. How that helps me in life is still a mystery to me. I love finding efficient uses for small spaces & using recyclables in my crafts. I have a Mad Crochet Lab on Facebook and I tweet stuff under the name, MadCroScientist.

In 2013, I completed a year-long challenge for myself to design and crochet one amigurumi a week for a year. Yes, I am nuts. The challenge was called Yarndango and it resulted in many small free patterns, which can be found on the Free Patterns tab at my blog. Both my free and paid patterns are tested but my free ones are written much less formally. Feel free to contact me about any issues you have with either of them. I’m very reachable and approachable.

I also knit but am not as proficient as I am at crochet. It’s so nice to meet new crochet lovers and all lovers of fiber art. :)
