Mary Ann Stephens

Mary Ann Stephens

I’ve been knitting since I was five. I began publishing my designs online in 1998. In 2002, I started my Kidsknits.com website which specialized in Norwegian and Fair Isle knitting. In 2018, we moved from NY to AZ and gave Kidsknits a much-needed makeover along the way, turning it into MaryAnnStephens.com which still emphasizes traditional color work, but will also offer more twisted stitches, cables, lace and other charted techniques, in addition to my all-time favorite, Fair Isle. Free patterns and technique articles from my old Two Strands knitting blog will soon be available on the blog within MaryAnnStephens.com. If you need to contact me directly, you can send me a private message through Ravelry, but I check my regular email through the site more often. Happy knitting!
