I’m Melanie (but you can call me Mel) and I design practical, timeless fibre products.

When I’m not fondling fibres in the studio I work freelance in theatre and games. I passionately believe in the power of play to change lives. It’s why I share profits with “World at Play’, a charity bringing play to children in need. They do life-changing and life-enhancing work and it’s my greatest joy that our shared love of playing with fibre is contributing to their work.

To me, your enjoyment of the making process is as important as your satisfaction in the final product, which is why I make every effort to ensure my patterns are detailed, thorough and accessible to all.
