I am a high school Japanese teacher by day, and an avid, and yes, male knitter by night. I began knitting a year after my son was born (2004). My mother taught me the basics and I was soon hooked on the infinite possibilities a simple knit and purl stitch can create. I’ve been knitting most every night since then, and my New Year’s resolution was to start actually recording some of the patterns that I’ve worked out recently.

I love creating. I’m an avid gardener who loves capturing my efforts on film. I love how holding a camera forces me to see things I might normally walk right by. I want to celebrate the Midwestern gardener and our spectacular array of flora.
