Nicole Bottles
I’m Nicole, the designer, dyer, teacher, knitter, and dreamer behind The Spinnacle Yarns, based on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. I create patterns that are intuitive and joyful to knit, playful to wear, and accessible to makers of all sizes and skill levels. And you’ll gather techniques to add to your ‘knitters toolbox’ of skills, too.
Beyond knitwear design, I’m also a yarn dyer, knitter, crocheter, spinner, and weaver — textiles are where I find both inspiration and connection. For me, designing is about building community, celebrating craft traditions, and sparking delight in every stitch.
I have introduced a Pay What You Can Model to my pattern pricing, in order to balance financial accessibility and sustainability for my business. Coupon codes can be found on each pattern page to be used to if you need to make the price point more accessible to you!
I live with gratitude on beautiful unceded Coast Salish Lands, on Vancouver Island, Canada, whose dramatic landscapes of ocean, mountains, and evergreen forest continually inform and inspire my art.
