Hi friends! I learned to knit in college and launched northknits in 2014. I pursue simple living through my passion for DIY, pattern design, stacking my yarn shelf, and providing business and entrepreneurial advice to crafters.

I am the founder of Our Maker Life, a global knit and crochet maker movement, launched in 2016. I’ve connected more than 100,000 fellow fiber creatives in the knit, crochet, and yarn industry online and in-person. I spend my time north’knitting in my cozy Chicago home or at a city coffee shop.

I enjoy traveling, brunching, biking, reading, and sweet cuddles with my kitten Dewey.
