I began knitting as soon as I was able to hold needles but still refused to read a patterns until just recently. I just make stuff up as I go. In the past my daughter has been kind enough to write down patterns for some of the stuff I make, but I am now dabbling a bit with the more basic stuff.

For the longest time quilting was my greatest hobby passion, but Fibromyalgia has forced a change in the last decade. Spinning now dominates my time, with quilting taking a second seat.

Knitting and crocheting are my portable hobbies.

After much persuasion, I finally learned how to weave - just enough skill to get by, not enough time to get into trouble.

In December 2017, we moved from the plains of Colorado to the hills of Virginia. In this new home, I am finding so many new opportunities to share my love of fiber.
