Rebekah Younger

Rebekah Younger

Rebekah Younger has been designing and selling her line of knits for over 30 years. Her signature knit, dye, unravel and re-knit technique first published in an article for Threads magazine in 1995 brought knitters a new way of working with color and pattern. She wrote patterns for other clothing designers, as well, such as Margaret O’Leary, with clear instructions that incorporated production techniques for machine knitters.
She is known for creating lightweight minimalist designs with an Asian flare. Her designs were featured in an Ornament cover article in 1999 and exhibited in Artwear: Fashion and Anti-fashion at the San Francisco Legion of Honor in 2005. For nearly 25 years her work was sold at major fine craft shows and through galleries in the U.S. Rebekah is now publishing many of her timeless signature designs for machine knitters to enjoy.
