Regina Mattern
Welcome to Knitfittery, where we are passionate about the art of knitting and its many benefits. Our resources, including classes, patterns, books, and kits, are designed to help our patrons improve their skills and unleash their creativity.
My name is Regina Mattern and I am the founder of Knitfittery. I was born in Cork, Ireland and developed a love for knitting at a young age of five. Knitting has always been my passion and I started Knitfittery to share this passion with others.
I have a special appreciation for the intricate and beautiful designs of Aran knitting, but I also believe in the power of knitting to do good. I have organized various charitable projects, such as knitting hats for premature babies and blankets for the homeless. In addition, I use knitting as a therapeutic tool to help clients manage stress, pain, and even early-onset Alzheimer’s.
At Knitfittery, our mission is to strengthen communities by enriching lives one stitch at a time. Whether you are an experienced knitter or new to the craft, we invite you to join us in this rewarding and enjoyable hobby.
