Oh what to say….. I’m a SAHM with M.E/CFS and a passion for knitting. Anything these days that I can make cheaper than buying it is a good thing as far as I’m concerned!

I live with my son in Sheerness, Kent, UK having split up with my husband in Oct 2007. Aston’s a nut case of a child who seems to have a thing about stealing my knitting needles - perhaps we have a knitter of the future among us!

I used to work as a personal assistant but now spend most of my time trying to stay awake! I’ve set up a knitting group as there didn’t seem to be one in my area. It’s called Swampy Ewe-Knitted. Swampy is a nickname for a resident of the Isle of Sheppey (where I live) and one of the other members came up with the “Ewe-Knit” part which I just extended because I thought it sounded like a football club! So now that’s who we are! Only a few of us at the moment but I’m hoping to get more people interested.
