Another great advantage of curls is that there are very customizable (if designed properly). The patterns in the Curl bundle all are very customizable. The shawls start with a handful of stitches and can grow as large as you want. You can repeat as many or as little of the lace patterns to accommodate for your yarn, yardage, and the size you like for your shawls. The patterns give a few suggestions for customizations. There’s also a yarn-usage table that gives you insight in exactly how much yarn the pattern sample used. Although yarn usage will vary from knitter to knitter (even if you get the same gauge, believe it or not!), the table can help you estimate how far you can go with your own yarn.

The patterns let you dive in and explore various lacy stitch patterns, some very lacy, others with a bit more texture. There’s nothing really difficult with those stitches. And helped by a whole bunch of tutorials to show you the stitches and techniques, you’ll have fun with curls and lace!
The Curl bundle include 4 shawl patterns, all suitable for a wide range of colorways (solid, semi-solid, speckled, gradients yarns) and yarn weights. If you’d like to get some guidance about yarn types, don’t hesitate to ask me (also if you want to make them with summer or winter yarns)!
Each pattern requires one or two skeins of yarn (from 90 grams up to 165 grams). The yarn weights range from Light Fingering to Sport. All the patterns are customizable: You can adjust the project to your needs and yarn.
The patterns in this bundle require The body of the shawls are relatively easy. The Edgings usually require some attention, but there are no difficult stitches. Tutorials are provided for the stitches and techniques used. Please take a moment to review the notes and skill-level section on the individual pattern pages for the details about the patterns.
With a fun mix of patterns, the Curl bundle includes 4 patterns, all suitable for not too busy colorways such as solid, semi-solid, (single-skein) gradient yarns. You can use a wide range of yarn weights provided your selected yarn has enough stitch definition (suggested: Fingering to Aran). All Skeinwalker patterns come with fully written and charted instructions, blocking photos, and suggestions to customize your project.
