Hi! I’m Wendy, the creative force behind Cactus Flower Crochet. I’m a 70’s kid from California currently living deep in the heart of Far West Texas. I’ve called the desert home for most of my adult life and I LOVE cacti, all things retro and vintage, and you’ll find most of my patterns embody this love.

I learned to crochet in 2010 in order to be a part of my cousin’s knitting ministry. It slowly became my mission to comfort people with beanies, scarves, prayer shawls and blankets. In the last thirteen years I have crocheted, knitted, gifted and donated over 1000 hugs!

I designed my first original baby blanket pattern in 2018 and now, slowly, I am getting my designs written up and published. Every purchase you make supports two missions close to my heart, hurting people and hurting animals, with 10% of all proceeds funding Knit Together by Love care gifts and 100% of profits supporting community animal rescues.
