How it works:
The pattern is segmented into logical sections, 5 in total. We will be working on one section at a time as we progress through the pattern.

The KaL starts Nov.5th, and I will be live-streaming to help people with the first section of the pattern. So you would get the cast-on section Nov.4th.

Every 2nd day, another part of the pattern is emailed out. So email dates are Nov. 4, 6, 8, 10, 12.

I’m live at my Twitch show knitting and chatting with everyone on Nov. 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 and 15th (as an extra help day and to view the projects on Ravelry with everyone.)

Who is this KAL for?
The format is geared to help people learn advanced level knitting techniques. It IS NOT A BEGINNER KNITTER KAL.

What is the techniques we will be learning?
Working with a stitch pattern that the amazing Hitomi Shida created as a border stitch in her Japanese Stitch Bible. I modified the stitch and made it work for in the round.

Moving markers to make logical start of pattern crown.
Decreasing within cables or moving sts to hide lines for shaping.
My own Cast-On and Join Technique.
Twisted Ribbing
Increasing withing pattern to make a pattern motif.

What format is the pattern in? Charts? Written instructions?
Both!

Must I sign up for Twitch just to participate?
Nope! I will have mini tutorials on my YouTube channel for you to reference the techniques used.

So why hold it on Twitch?
It’s an opportunity for knitters to pick the brains of the designer while knitting one of their patterns. Knitters can chat to me AND to each other Via Twitch’s Live Chat while I’m streaming. I want to get to know the people who knit my patterns and people to know me. Plus, I REALLY want to promote knitters taking a chance and exploring new skills so they will fall in deeper in love with knitting. And spread that love! Great question! Twitch answers it beautifully and very simply HERE.
Now, if you are already an Amazon Prime member, the sign up is different because you get MORE benefits.

By far the easiest way for Amazon Prime subscribers to sign up for Twitch Prime is to head to your Amazon homepage.
Sign in.
From there, click on Accounts and Lists.
From the Your Account homepage, click on the button labeled Prime, then scroll down to find the Twitch Prime listing.
