0-2 Years Two Hats & Mittens Set “Trains and Stripes”

This pattern is 9 pages long (Including 1 front page which is just Photos and Pattern name) For the Train Hat and Mittens the train, carriages and smoke is knitted separately then sewn onto the hat and mittens, whereas the Striped Hat and Mittens are just colour changes during the knitting.

Hat Sizes:
0-6 Months.
6-12 Months.
1-3 Years.

Mitten Sizes:
0-6 Months – Thumbless.
6-12 Months – Thumbless.
1-2 Years - With Thumbs.

3.25mm (no.3) Knitting Needles.
4mm (no.6) Knitting Needles.

5g Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK White (961) Yarn.

15 Small (10mm or under) Buttons, Any Pastel Shades. Please note: Colours given are just an example of what can be used; if you have any odds and ends this would be perfect for the train embellishments as only uses a very small amount of wool.

4mm (no.6) Knitting Needles.

Yarn companies are constantly discontinuing colours so they can offer new ones to their customers which unfortunately and very frustratingly is beyond my control. Therefore, the yarns given in the pattern are just a suggestion and what was used in the patterns pictured. If you find any of the colours have been discontinued or hard to come by any DK yarn from any brand of a similar colour will work too.
