MATERIALS AND TOOLS

  • Any acrylic or cotton yarn to make the rucksack itself and straps. I used Alize Diva yarn (100% microfiber, 350 m/100 g). This is wonderful yarn with rich color range. It feels like silk. Toys made with this yarn keep shape perfectly. I use the yarn of the following colors: violet (178) - main color (MC) and gray (167) - complement color (CC). You will need about half a skein of violet color and leftover of gray color.

  • Vita Cotton Coco (100% cotton, 2400 m/50 g) of black color (3852). This yarn is 100% mercerized cotton. You can also use Iris yarn or any cotton yarn of the similar weight. You will need a very small amount of the cotton yarn.

  • 1.0 and 1.75 mm Prym crochet hooks

  • Tapestry needle

  • Decorative buttons or beads, size 5 mm. You will need 5 buttons/beads.

  • 5 mm beads with the hole no more than 2 mm.

TOOLS:

  • 1.0 and 1.5 mm crochet hooks
  • Wire cutter;
  • Scissors
  • Sewing needle;
  • Tapestry needle
  • Hard brush to tint
  • A piece of Velcro tape to brush the yarn.
