MATERIALS AND TOOLS

To make one toy you will need:

  • Yarn:
  • Lotus Travka Stretch by Kamteks (80 m / 50 g) - 2.5 skeins, beige.
  • Nako Paris (245 m / 100 g) - 1/4 skein to make ears

TIP: If you need exactly the same yarn, please ask via private message in this shop on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/ru/shop/LittleOwlsHutRUSSIAN?

  • Tapestry needle to join parts

  • Stuffing polyester

  • Toy eyes: ready toy eyes or 12-mm semi beads

  • Nose: ready toy nose or you can make it of modeling clay

  • Modeling clay of black color to make nose and heals

  • Iris yarn to do sculpting of muzzle

  • Cotter pins: 25 х 2 mm (5 pins)

  • Discs : 25 mm (4 discs), 35 mm (2 discs), 40 mm (4 discs)

  • Metal washers if necessary

  • Round pliers

  • 2.00 mm crochet hook (if you use the same yarn)

  • Velcro tape to brush your toy (I usually buy several meters of Velcro tape and then cut off a small piece to use on the toy)

  • Hairbrush

  • Scissors

  • Dry pastel colors (made by Olki) to tint the toy (or any other tinting materials do you usually use).

  • Transparent glue to glue on parts

  • White felt for eyes

Tips:
- You can use any yarn you want and thus choose a crochet hook for your project. If you use different yarn, the toy will be bigger or smaller, and you will need more or less yarn and wire than stated in the pattern (i.e., thicker yarn will produce a bigger toy, and you may require more yarn).
