MATERIALS AND TOOLS

These materials are necessary:
In order to avoid the disproportion of the toy, I recommend using the same yarn to make all the parts of the toy. I used Vita Coco yarn (fingering; 100% cotton; 240 m per 50 g ball). You will need less than 50 g of each color.

  • white (3851) – the shirt;
  • light green (4309) – the pants;
  • beige (3889) – the arms;
  • dark green (4327) – the stem on the head;
  • orange (4329) – the pumpkin;
  • wine red (4325) – the jacket;
  • black (3852) – the shoes

Embroidering thread:

  • black – to embroider the shirt, belt, and line on the pants;

  • brown – to embroider decorative seams on the pants;

  • yellow – to embroider the buckles on the shoes Copper wire - 1.5 mm copper wire - approx. 1 m. You can buy this wire in a craft shop, but I suggest buying it in an electronic goods store. There you can buy a 31.5 cord. Before buying the cord, make sure that the wire inside it is whole and does not consist of several thin wires. With a paper knife, remove the insulation. Yellow/silver 0.3-0.5-mm beading wire to reinforce the fingers and wine red 0.3-0.5-mm beading wire to reinforce the jacket.

  • wadding polyester

  • fabric plaster or insulation tape

  • plastic toy eyes/beads/semi beads to make the eyes. Size - 6-8 mm. I used 8-mm glass toy eyes. https://aliexpress.ru/item/32550775329.html

  • transparent glue

  • 0.3-0.5-mm beading wire or 1-mm copper wire, approx. 1 m to reinforce the ears

  • dry pastel or eye shadows of black color to tint the eyes

  • decorative buttons for the shirt and jacket. I used 3 white and 6 light green 5-mm buttons.

Tools:

  • embroidery needle
  • 1.25-mm crochet hook. Attention: choose the size of the hook according to the yarn you work with
  • wire cutters
  • scissors
  • HARD paintbrush
