The Hexi Mittens is a fingerless glove. It is constructed using a hexagonal motif. The thumb fits through the central opening. Once the motif reaches the size of your hand, fold it in half, close the center seam using the “join-as-you-go” technique. The design allows four fingers to pass through the opening on one side, while the wrist emerges from the opening on the other.

Hexi Mitten can be worn year-round, depending on the choice of materials. For warmer seasons, materials such as cotton- which offers excellent breathability and moisture-wicking properties-are ideal. For colder seasons, heat-retaining materials like wool are recommended.
Since hands are constantly in motion, it is best to choose a yarn that is resistant to pilling.

These Hexi Mittens are constructed using the granny stitch, you can enjoy creating unique designs by changing colors with every row. As a fashion statement, it can also be fun to make them using glow-in-the-dark yarn!
