Flood’s mittens combine textures with the cabled/bobbled stitch scheme on the back of the hand, a slip-stitch palm and a chevron stitch cuff.

• 3 .88oz/25g balls (each approx 115yd/105m) of Jamieson’s/Simply Shetland 2-Ply Spindrift (shetland wool) in #259 leprechaun
• One set (5) size 3 (3.25mm) double-pointed needles (dpn) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Cable needle (cn), scrap yarn and stitch markers

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Hand circumference 7½”/19cm
• Length of cuff 3″/7.5cm

GAUGE
• 32 sts and 40 = 4″/10cm over St st using size 3 (3.25mm) needles.
