Keyhole Neck Sweater — Slip Stitch Colorblock Pullover
A fluorescent color adds a fresh look to this retro keyhole neck sweater. While the stitch pattern appears complex, it is a combination of basic garter stitch and slipped stitches — making it easier to create than it looks. Unlike stranded knitting, this stitch pattern is worked using only one color per row. The body uses a single strand of yarn, while the ribbing, sleeves, plackets, and neckband use two strands held together.
The body is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up, then sewn together. The shoulders are joined using a 3-needle bind-off. The sleeves are picked up and worked flat to the cuffs. There is no short-row shaping. Pattern instructions are in text; the Slip Stitch Pattern has both text and chart.
