Make this liner to use with a ½ bushel basket to make a smooth container to store fiber. The liner prevents snagging of your wool and keeps splinters from getting in your fingers. Also, you can remove the liner after you fill the basket and use it as a soft carrying bag with the nifty handles.

The finished liner weighs 5 oz, and most of my skeins are 4 oz weights. If you don’t want to purchase 2 skeins and not use all of the second, I would find similar weight yarns in my stash and make the ribbed rim a fun stripe or contrasting color.
