“There’s no shaping involved in this ingenious sweater: Merely assemble a mass of individually looped granny squares, chainstitch a drawstring tie, add a ruffle to the sleeves - and you’re off.”

Tip: “Create a boxy scallop by leaving the sides of the final row of blocks unsewn.”

Materials:

  • Silk & Merino DK by Cherry Tree Hill, 4oz/113g hanks, each approx 313yd/286m (silk/wool)
  • 5 (5, 6, 7) skeins in spanish moss
  • Size D/3 (E/4, F/5, G/6)/3.25 (3.5, 3.75, 4)mm crochet hook or size to obtain gauge
