This sampler lace scarf is the perfect project to learn to knit lace or further develop your skills. It will give you the opportunity to use a provisional cast-on, a stretchy bind-off, utilize all of your yarn, and choose from the ten included lace chart patterns to create a unique and attractive scarf.

Until recently, knitters recorded their stitch patterns by knitting samplers and keeping them for reference for future knitting. This lace sampler scarf will be beautiful to wear and will also be a record of the lace stitch patterns that you knit into it.

The finished scarf will be approximately 11” x 54” after blocking. If you are a very tight or a very loose knitter, you may need to go up or down 2-3 needle sizes from the suggested needle size in order to get a pattern that you like.

Enjoy!
