We’re hosting a year-long Knit Along to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of NORO Knitting Magazine!

In honor of Noro Magazine’s 10th Anniversary, we asked Deborah Newton to design a Japanese-inspired Knit-Along Afghan using the iconic Silk Garden and Silk Garden Solo yarns.
This project is made up of 10 motif squares plus 10 solid squares.
Edit: The solid colored squares are plain st st. The directions are embedded in the “notes” section of the Pagoda square.

Here we are featuring PAGODA, the first in a series of 12 releases, one per month, in this KAL.
Along with each instruction (1 new motif with instructions, plus finishing and final afghan), there will be a video showing a particular technique.
Videos on KFI YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiqbWD-76sZ2MRkMIX6C1gw

There are 20 blanket squares, each knitted separately and sewn together.

This pattern is free for the duration of the KAL. It will be a paid pattern at the conclusion. (The first two blocks are also included in the print magazine.)

When: The KAL is starting with the first two blocks in October to coincide with the publication of issue 21.
Pattern Delivery: The PDF will be updated each month with the new blocks.
Chatter: We are hosting a KAL group on the NORO Knitting Magazine Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/467431628644600/
