Instructions for coats, hats, leggings and covers for a 2” baby doll

MATERIALS: Size 19 and 20 knitting needles, 1ply cotton, 5 buttons, stitch holder, shirring elastic and 2mm silk ribbon.

Pram sets changed very little from the 1920’s when they started to become popular. In the early days the girl’s coats had a skirt, the boys were short & straight. Boys wore either a pull-on hat with a large pom pom or a bonnet like the girls. The idea for these pram sets were taken from baby patterns of the ‘50’s & ‘60’s.
