Baggy Bum Baby Romper Knitting Pattern

This knitting pattern is for a traditional baggy bum baby romper with a matching beret and ribbon tie bootees.

Designed with extra room around the seat, this romper is ideal for babies wearing traditional terry nappies, although it looks equally adorable with modern disposable nappies. The romper is worked mainly in stocking stitch, making it suitable for plain, self-patterning and fashion yarns. The optional collar allows you to personalise the finished outfit, while the back and crotch button openings make dressing and nappy changes easier.

Suitable for babies and reborn dolls from approximately 2.5lb premature through to 0–3 months.
