I’m super excited to invite you to the fifth annual Bauble Along! We will be celebrating our love of baubles from November 12 through January 6th. Sign up here!

12 Cozy Days of Baubles Part 1 features four quick and fun baubles perfect for gifting or decorating your own tree. A variety of techniques ensures that you can use this pattern on different types of yarn, from commercial, to hand dyed, to handspun. I knit my samples using Marianated Yarns Practicality sock yarn, a 75/25 superwash merino and nylon blend. The 10-gram Lynette mini skeins are the perfect size for each Bauble.

Day 1 is a textured cozy intended to be your swatch project. For best results, it should be worked first. If you find that the row or stitch gauge is off, or you do not like the fabric that is produced, adjust your needle size to knit the remaining bauble covers.
Day 2 has a lovely vertical lace motif inspired by a Japanese design.
Day 3 features a knitter favorite, chevrons, but stranded.
Day 4’s cable fir trees are ready to decorate!

These bauble covers are designed to fit a 2.63” / 67 mm plastic ornament.

For a few rounds, you will be creating your stitches with the plastic bauble nestled inside the knitted fabric. For your safety, please do not use a glass ornament to create this project!
