You will need a size 9mm crochet hook, (US M or N), and worsted weight yarn. (Or 2 strands of double knitting is equivalent to 1 strand of worsted weight)

This hat works from the bottom up.. my new favorite method of crocheting hats! It’s just so darn easy!! You may never want to make a “top-down” hat again!!
