Cardigan is worked flat from the bottom up in one piece to the arm holes, then fronts and back are worked separately. Shoulders are seamed using three-needle bind-off. Sleeves are worked in the round and set in. Hood is picked up from the neckline and worked flat, then seamed with three-needle bind-off.

Smaller needles are used for the first eight rows of the bottom of the body of the sweater, and for the bottom of the sleeves.
