This is a small hexagonal motif’s pattern . It is completed in two rounds.

The first round is made with jasmine stitch. The jasmine stitch is a unique technique that creates a puffy, six-petaled flower shape.

It’s not difficult, but even if you’re at an intermediate level it will take some practice to get the hang of.

The second round is made with granny stitch. Just like regular granny squares, the motif can be joined together to create various items.

To join these small motifs, it is best joined using the join-as-you-go method. By doing so, you can connect the motifs and create the second round at the same time.

This pattern includes instructions for making the hexagonal motif, a half-motif version, and instructions on how to join the motifs together by join- as- you- go method.

The instructions are provided in written pattern , along with photos, videos, and diagrams.

Because this motif is small, it’s easier to experiment with different layouts and color patterns compared to regular-sized motifs.
To find ideas, try searching for keywords like “hexagon quilt patterns” or “hexagon quilt layouts.”

The pattern is made using a single color, but it would also be great changing the color between the first and second rounds.

Documents include 6 pages of written patterns with some pictures, links to demonstration video and Diagram.
