  • Another pattern from the same Dale booklet as the more famous Ingeborg.  The leaflet is out of print but can sometimes be found on eBay or from other sources.  The information here is from the English language version.
  • Four sizes are offered ranging from 35.375 inches (90cm) to 46.5 inches (118cm) finished chest measurement.  A schematic shows other important measurements.
  • Three color ways are suggested.  You will need 6-7 balls of one color and 4-5 balls of a second color.  Sisik is discontinued but may sometimes be found on eBay or as leftovers at LYS and online shops.  It had 148 yards per ball.
  • You will need double pointed needles, 16 and 29 inch circular needles in both needle sizes.  A crochet hook US size D/3(3mm) is recommended for picking up stitches.
  • The sweater and sleeves are knit in the round to the armholes.   The top of the body and the sleeve caps are knit flat. Set in sleeves are sewn in.
  • The pattern combines stranded color work and  simple lace knitting.  The pattern is graphed with a glossary to explain the symbols.  The solid color portions are lace but the color work portion is in stockinette.
  • Patterns for a [matching hat](http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/12609-gerbera-cap) and [scarf](http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/12609-gerbera-scarf) are also provided but will require additional yarn.
