Aran Socks — Geometric Cable Socks
I wanted to give the usual Aran socks a bit of a modern look, so I arranged the Aran pattern geometrically and added a fresh appeal in bright fuchsia pink. Lang Yarns Regina is a rare combination of cotton and alpaca, and the silk blend gives it just the right amount of luster. Socks are an item that allows you to enjoy bold colors — play around with various shades you might not normally wear!
Aran Socks are worked from the toe up using the magic loop method. Instep and front of leg are worked on one needle; sole, heel, and back of leg on a second needle. Instructions are in text; the cable pattern stitch is in both text and chart.
