Loose fitting cropped jacket with mitered shaping and embellishments. Sized for Small/Medium, Large/1X, 2X/3X and shown in size Small/Medium on page 46.

Embellishments are worked on main body, back, and sleeves only. Add embellishments at random, only on treble rows, and always skipping at least 6 sts between embellishments.

FPdtr stitches are always worked over 2 rows. Avoid lining them up vertically to enhance their randomness. Always work FPdtr stitches in pairs, one next to the other; on the next tr row, work a pair of FPdtr offset to the right or left so that one of the FPdtr is worked into a FPdtr and the other is worked into a normal tr.

When working dc rows in sts topped by picots, bring picot to back of work and work into dc under the picot. All sc rows are on the WS so picots end up on the RS.

Ch-4 counts as tr throughout.
