A shaped headband knit in a slip stitch pattern making a warm and firm fabric that won’t stretch out of shape. The work is finished with an applied I-cord edging.

A heavy fingering to DK yarn in wool or alpaca would be great for this project. The slip stitch pattern usually works well with variegated yarns.
